Expanded Biography

Dr. Poussaint was born in Rochester, New York. She received her BA from Mount Holyoke(magna cum laude), where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She received her MD with honors from Yale University School of Medicine, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After an internship in pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Hospital, she completed residency training in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in neuroradiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. After serving on staff in neuroradiology at MGH, she joined the faculty at Childrens Hospital Boston. She is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology. Her special interests include neuro-oncology and the phakomatoses.
