Fetoscopic Cardiac Intervention
The focused goal of this project is the development and testing of techniques by which safe and reliable fetal cardiac interventions may be performed. A separate but related program is being pursued with Ension, Inc. (Pittsburgh, PA) that is designed to determine the effects of cardiopulmonary bypass on the microcirculation of the placenta.
