Dr McCauley received his Medical degree from the Queen's University ,Belfast, Northern Ireland. He completed a transitional internship and Radiology residency there followed by a year in the department of Radiology at University Hospital, Ann Arbor Michigan. His Pediatric Radiology Fellowship was at Tufts-New England Medical Center, at The Floating Hospital. He eventually became Chief of Pediatric Radiology there and Professor of Radiology at Tufts University School of Medicine. He joined the faculty of Children's hospital in 2006. His interests include Neonatal radiology and Ultrasound imaging.
