William L. Boyan Award for Excellence in Community Health

 Boston Children’s Hospital’s Board of Trustees established an annual award in honor of William L. Boyan, who served on the hospital’s Board of Trustees for 27 years. The William L. Boyan Award is an annual $50,000 award which honors a community organization, community health center or Boston school for their work and commitment to the children and families of Boston.

Community Partnership Fund

Through the Community Partnership Fund, Boston Children's Hospital supports community-based programs that improve the health and well-being of children and families (primarily in the Fenway, Mission Hill, Jamaica Plain and Roxbury neighborhoods), as well as community-based organizations that are working to make those neighborhoods and Boston a better place to live, work and play.

Guidelines are distributed on an annual basis (usually in August).
