No one can solve the tough challenges of pediatric health care alone. We need to build creative, durable relationships that will spawn new discoveries, improve care and accelerate the benefits for children. Boston Children’s embraces partnerships to fuel greater and faster innovation, ensuring that life-changing visions become reality and create a healthier future for our children. We approach every challenge with the question of how and with whom can we partner to make the work bigger, better, more productive. Join us.

Innovation is a group endeavor. Working collaboratively—leveraging the unique resources, assets and skill sets of multiple partners—is the cornerstone of Boston Children’s leadership in innovation.

Building and sustaining successful partnerships demands leadership and systems and processes to locate, engage and structure partnerships. We have infused a culture of innovation across our campus and established multiple programs to support partnerships:

  • Our annual Global Pediatric Innovation Summit + Awards provides a forum for leaders in innovation to build partnerships, accelerate innovations from idea to market and transform the future of pediatric medicine.

  • Our Technology and Innovation Development Office (TIDO) facilitates the transfer of intellectual property, research tools, know-how and technologies to industry through licenses, option agreements and the formation of start-up companies.

  • Our Innovation & Digital Health Accelerator (IDHA) guides aspiring innovators through the innovation cycle by providing educational programs and grant support.
