Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center and New York Medical College features state-of-the-art technology in a family-friendly, compassionate setting and includes a specialized pediatric cardiothoracic surgery unit. We see about 1,300 children a year for a wide range of pediatric illnesses and injuries.

Our physicians are all board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine (PCCM). Our nursing staff has a 25-year history of pediatric critical care experience, and our dedicated respiratory therapy team has extensive experience with pediatric patients who need respiratory support services.

Our mission is to deliver excellent medical care to critically ill or injured infants, children and adolescents – while offering support for their families during this intense emotional time.
