Philosophy of Care

Scoliosis and spine differences are a scary proposition for patients and families. My goal is to educate families and allay fears while treating patients with the most up to date care for spine differences.

Dr. Grant Hogue is a fellowship trained pediatric orthopedic surgeon who has been trained in scoliosis surgery at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and the Boston Children's Hospital. He specializes in difference of the spine as well as fractures in children.

After fellowship training Dr. Hogue started his career at the University of Texas where he was the division chief of pediatric orthopedics and Dielmann Endowed Chair in pediatric orthopedics and spine deformity. Despite enjoying his work in Texas, Dr. Hogue could not pass up the opportunity to return to Boston Children's Hospital.

Dr. Hogue is active in research with a focus on innovation. He is a member of the Scoliosis Research Society and the Pediatric Spine Study Group.
