Boston Children’s Hospital and Cerner Sponsored Strategic Initiative:
Catching FHIR: An Interoperability Challenge

PULSE@MassChallenge is offering a competition to accelerate innovation in Digital Health. • Co-development, leveraging technology and clinical resources
  • Product validation within the Cerner platform
  • Product validation within the BCH clinical environment

  • Strategic investment from BCH and/or Cerner

How the competition works:

PULSE@MassChallenge is providing for this challenge as part of the 6-month PULSE accelerator program.  PULSE will source digital health applicants from around the world and facilitate a vetting and online judging process. The most qualified applicants will be selected and then invited to give a face-to-face pitch of their concept before the BCH/Cerner team.  After a Q&A and product testing session, BCH and Cerner will choose the challenge winner and work with them to assemble the team that will drive the development and deployment of their transformative technology.

Submission applications are now being accepted. Application vetting will take place through November 9th, 2016. The challenge winner will be selected in December 2016 for participation in the PULSE accelerator program beginning in January, 2017.
