PROFESSIONAL HISTORY

Jennifer Lyu is the clinical research coordinator for the study. She leads the recruitment of participants and meets with families one-on-one to introduce and discuss the research goals and enrollment process. The study's main purpose is to identify genetic variations that cause congenital diaphragmatic hernia and associated disorders.

For over 10 years, a dedicated team of scientists and clinicians at Boston Children's Hospital and MassGeneral Hospital for Children have been working together on a study to better understand the genetics of congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) and associated disorders. We hope this knowledge will lead to improved outcomes for future generations of babies born with CDH.
